By staying up until 4am, Kylle Cota allows his diabetic girlfriend, Kortney, to have an uninterrupted night's sleep every night of the year.

"She doesn't make me check it, I just do it because I worry about her constantly. I guess it is a little weird, but I love her."

Kylle says he suffers from insomnia and isn't too bothered by his own sleep pattern, but has been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of support he's had since the video went viral.

"Do you really stay awake until 4 every morning just to make sure your girlfriend's blood sugar is okay?"
