An unlikely pair of best friends

You never know when or where you are going to find your best friend, but in this feel good story, they were not even the same species.

Roscoe, a 3 year-old orangutan, became severely depressed after losing both of his parents. He stopped eating his food and was not responding to medical treatment. The doctors began to lose hope for his survival.

That all changed when the zoo keepers found a stray dog roaming the park grounds. The dog was noticeably ill so they decided to bring him in for medical treatment. That is when the magic happened!

The dog arrived around the same time the orangutan was being treated. The two have been inseparable ever since. The orangutan began to respond to his treatments. His depression was replaced with love and friendship.
