Watch Amazing Footage Of A Beached Great White Shark Getting Rescued By Massachusetts Beachgoers
July 14, 2015
On July 13, a juvenile great white shark beached itself while trying to catch seagulls off Chatham, Massachusetts. Thanks to the harbor master and beachgoers, this shark was saved.

Dr. Greg Skomal of the Division of Marine Fisheries, Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, and Chatham Harbormaster Stuart Smith worked to rescue the 7-foot male white shark that had been beached inside the South Beach cut in Chatham.
The team was eventually able to revive the shark and lead it out into the ocean approximately 1 mile offshore.
