Veterinarian Receives Heartwarming Letter From Little Boy After Saving His Dog's Life

A veterinary surgeon received this heartwarming letter from a little boy after doing an emergency surgery on his dog.

According to the vet, the dog came in the day before and was diagnosed with a foreign body obstruction in his intestines. He came back the next day to be euthanized because the owners couldn't afford the surgery.

I just couldn't do that to their kids so I did the surgery and let them sign a promissory note to pay the bill over the next 10 months," she wrote. "Incidentally Mason's birthday was today and he asked his guests to bring us donations of towels and blankets. Stuff like this makes the bad days a little better."
