Thank You Trader Joe’s And Our Special Friend Nelson

By bobby smiley • November 2, 2026

There’s an employee at Trader Joe’s named Nelson who always makes my special needs son feel cool. Naturally my son wanted to be him for Halloween.

When Nelson found out, he got us a name tag and a TJ’s shirt in my son’s size and wore a matching one all week.

My son has been 3 times so far and is treated like a celebrity on every visit.

Thank you Trader Joe’s and our special friend Nelson. 🏆
