I saw it in his room along with two other drawings, also of another fish and a bird.

He’s fished all of his life and can’t really do it anymore due to his inabilities from aging.

He never was an artist and nobody knew he had talent like this and he was so chill about, I’m so amazed and impressed. It’s not even because of his age or the dementia it’s just so unexpected from him and it’s so wholesome to see him showing his hidden talents to pass the time!

I just absolutely love how much character is in this drawing and if he’ll let me I’d love to keep it after he’s gone, it’s fantastic.
