Santa Crab Claws

By leann • July 13, 2026

My husband is a fishermen. It’s feast or famine.

Today we had some hot weather and our crab stock coming back to dock wasn’t so lively. We sold the good ones to market but decided to take the ones that were not moving so quickly back home to cook up for dinner.

We ended up sharing the feast with the neighbors, handing out boiled and grilled crab to our unsuspecting neighbors. It was pretty well received and we were so happy to see the smile on everyone’s face when being handed a plate of fresh crab.

We made a frustrating situation a blessing to share with the hardworking folks in our blue collar community.

My teenager and 5 year old were skipping around door to door happily handing over dinner plates to anyone who answered the door .

No act of kindness goes unnoticed. Today was a feast for all.
