A Little Kindness Goes A Long Way, And It’s So Easy To Do

By A Friend • December 30, 2025

I was getting gas and noticed this young girl, maybe 16-17, on the phone struggling to get the gas cap off, almost in tears.

I went over and asked if she needed help, and she had tears starting to roll, and said she can’t get the cap off and is almost empty. I got the cap off, and it was a bit tight.

Told her to take a few breaths and sit in her car, and filled her tank on my card.

She was so thankful! I simply said that I would hope that if my daughter was struggling like this that someone would be kind enough to help her too. Just told her to pay it forward.
