A couple weeks ago I asked for help in a local Facebook group with anyone that had any outgrown diapers for my toddler. This one super woman not only gave me 2 bags of her kids outgrown diapers, but she also got my kid baby food and some eggs and bacon and grinch cookies for me.

Just. Unprompted. Showed up for my family that she didn't know.

I ugly cried for 2 straight days. She didn't know how badly I needed that help. She didn't know that I hadn't had bacon or eggs in months. Or that I'd just gone through a miscarriage, and then the shutdown screwing up food stamps meant that I just... didn't eat for days at a time.

She really didn't know anything except that I needed some Diapers.

People who do things like this mean more than they know.
