My cat went missing June 3. This is the second time she went missing, only this time I had no idea where she ended up (climbed up under an Uber drivers car and hitched a ride ).

For months I posted to local groups and held on hope, despite some people saying I should just give up or trying to scam me.

Last Thursday I get the typical ‘potential matches!’ email from a lost and found organization. I had been ignoring them since my kitty was never there, but decided to look that night.

There she was.

I contacted the shelter the next morning and sent photos of my cat to confirm the markings and yesterday I went and picked her up. She remembered me (and my doggo, who was kinda like a fur mama to her/ her best pal)

I’m so happy she’s home! If you have a missing pet, please never give up! She was gone 174 days, but is now home back to where she belongs.
