My Cousin Was A Real Life Princess

...at Disney.
She was hired to be a general character actress. Mostly she was Belle, but she also got to be Ariel, Cinderella, Jasmine, and the rest. Belle was just her favorite.
After being there for years, she was starting to have a hard time fitting into her costume. They don't tailor costumes to you. You have to fit into a pre-existing size. So she was told she had to lose weight, which rocked her confidence so much that she decided it was best for her to move on.
On her last day, she wanted to wear her most favorite and comfortable dress (Belle's provincial life dress, obviously).
Well, she randomly decided to visit the clinic. She told me she didn't know why, because she never had before, but it was an impulse she didn't ignore. The clinic is ofc where they take people suffering from heat stroke or any other medical emergency. When she walked in, there was a child there with heat sickness. She happened to be absolutely obsessed with Beauty and the Beast. Belle was, of course, her favorite princess. The little girl was apparently devastated because she had to leave before meeting a single character. Her aunt even bought her an autograph book.
So my cousin sat with her and they sang "Be Our Guest" together until the little girl's parents arrived to pick her up. By the end of it, my cousin and the little girl's aunt were both crying. My cousin told me it was her best day at Disney, so she was glad it was her last.
