Mom's Ashes

By a friend • April 12, 2025

My Mom died and I spread her ashes here in my yard and these flowers grew a few months later. They weren’t planted.

A google search led me to a website that states the following:

“In the Victorian Flower Oracle, Calendula represents sympathy. It’s depicted with the Scabious and a weeping willow, marking the death of a sweet soul. When the Wheel of Life turns, we often need support – people who understand that even with faith sadness lingers. Here the Marigold offers the light of hope for those left behind – there is no end, just a new season for the soul.”
