To The Dad With His Family Behind Us

By A Friend • September 12, 2024

To the dad with his family behind us at EB Games today who heard us trying to get our hands on a Zelda sword for my son -- and that it was not stocked anymore and we'd have to pay $20 postage -- we were about to leave and hunt it down elsewhere, however you casually offered to add it to your own family's purchases.

Thank you.

I was stunned and didn't know how to react other than to accept your offer of kindness. It's not often that these things happen and I have always told my son that if you do kind things then good things will come back to you -- I am so grateful for him to experience this.

He is the most beautiful boy with the kindest heart and he deserves everything. He had been saving his pocket money up for this and had 2 more weeks until he could afford it.

We will not forget this and we promise to pay it forward.
