Today I Saw A Lady With A Sign Who Needed Some Money

Today I saw a lady with a sign who needed some money.

I don’t normally have cash on me but today I knew I had a $5 note.

So as I handed it to her, I asked her name, introduced myself and had a quick chat. The smile on her face from someone seeing her and not just her need, was worth more than any money.

I’ve challenged myself to now make sure I have some cash on me so I can connect with those in need of a smile and a chat.
