Never Underestimate The Impact Of A Simple Question

By Anne • September 18, 2023

I would like to thank the driver who took me to a friend’s house a couple of weeks ago - not for the drive, but for the conversation and one question.

After covering a number of topics around equality, quality of life, fairness and the like, he asked "how would you sum up your life?"

My instinctive answer was that I have been so lucky - in work, relationships, health and so many others areas of my life. I have been battling some health problems for 4 months, and there have been quite a few downs and less ups, but that one question made me stop and think and gain some perspective.

Kindness comes in all forms - never underestimate the impact of a simple question.
