So Proud Of Our Friend. I Can Learn Much From Her

By Annie • May 6, 2023

Sitting with a group of friends at a coffee shop in Queensland today when a fire crew pulled up to get smoko. One of our group jumped up and paid in advance for the coffees.

As they approached, our group clapped and cheered. They were somewhat surprised to get this reception. They had lost one of their own this week from injuries received when fighting a big industrial fire.

They came and spoke to our group wearing surprised faces after picking up their coffees.

They had been looking for a new place for coffee and it was mere happenstance that they found our coffee shop…. They asked us to not tell the police so it could be their go to place. Friendly rivalry between the emergency services is alive and well.

So proud of our friend. I can learn much from her.
