We Had A Train Derail Here In South Australia

We had a train derail here in South Australia.

It was a 38 degree day when the crews turned up to clean up the next day with trucks and cranes etc.

I felt so bad that they were out in the heat, that I approached my local bakery and bought each a bottle of powerade (20 crew members $85 later lol) and one of the guys handed them out after a quick chat. The guy asked where I lived and I told him lol.

Today, I went out for a few hours and came home from a very nice bunch of flowers on the doorstep. I was suprised as I didnt expect it but the guys reported back to their boss and ordered them to be delivered today.

I felt appreciated and it was such a beautiful gesture from the organisation.
