You Never Know The Impact You Have On Someone

By Rita • January 11, 2023

You never know the impact you have on someone.

I am not in a good place at the moment as I am grieving. For the past week I have struggled to even get out of bed.

This morning I managed to get to the shops for some food, but was desperate to get back home again. I was dismayed to be approached by a fundraiser for G.O.S.H. My heart sank and I began to feel a little panicky.

Instead of the hard sell I was expecting, he explained why he was there and then we had a lovely conversation at the end of which he paid me one of the loveliest compliments I have ever received and asked could he give me a hug. He made me feel so much better.

I wish I could thank him.
