My First Short Walk

I just went out for my first short walk after an emergency c-section 8 days ago, and quite a traumatic birth experience, including being seperated from my son doe the first 8 hours of his life, and his first 36 hours spent in the NICU, so I'm fragile, both physically and emotionally.

I decided to pick up a parcel from the post office on my short walk. But when it was presented to me it was huge and much heavier than I expected. I said to the guy at the counter, 'im sorry, I can't pick this up today, I'm recovering from surgery'. The young man at the counter next to me, in an ADF uniform, offered to take me and the parcel home. I was so taken aback by his kindness and it really made my day
