Ribbon Swap
By Lisa • April 11, 2022
A couple of weeks ago my 5 year old beautiful little boy received an award at school for showing kindness.
Yesterday at the school athletics carnival, he came third in his race.
He said, ‘Mum I’m going to swap my ribbon with Johnny’.
I assumed Johnny had received a first place ribbon and told him he couldn’t swap with Johnny.
He said, ‘But mum Johnny always comes last…’
Here he was prepared to swap a third ribbon for a forth place ribbon.
Such a kind little soul, he warms my heart.
