At My Doctor's Surgery This Morning...

By eliz • March 3, 2022

At my doctor's surgery this morning:

A little old man was waiting at the bus stop to come here and a stranger stopped to offer him a lift because the busses aren't running.

When he told the receptionist what had happened, another patient offered to wait and give him a lift home.

A patient asked the receptionist what the doctor drinks and her favourite chocolate. He returned with both and a gift voucher to a local shoe shop.

A patient ran around making everyone cuppas while they waited (it was overfull of people who couldn't get to their normal GP or had injuries from clean-up)

A patient asked to charge their phone, but their cord didn't work. Another patient had a suitable cord in their car and offered it.

It's not even midday.
