Today Has Been A Good Day

Today has been a good day.

My birthday wish this year was for friends & family to donate blankets & beanies to me. I ended up with nearly 30 blankets & 52 beanies! Unexpected generosity!

My husband and I then packaged them up. Each day for the last week I've randomly met a rough sleeper during my lunch, had a conversation with them, bought them lunch (if they wanted it) and have then given them a care parcel including a warm blanket and beanie.

My heart has expanded with whom I've met, so many heart-rending stories so much gratitude...7 packages gifted, 23 to go.
