"Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high...into that heaven of freedom my Father, let my country awake", as this famous quote of Rabindranath Tagore ran through her head, her mind stopped at the word "Freedom". That one precious word for which she had so longed for all her life. As the raindrops splattered across the window and raced one after the other, she realized that it would always remain a dream.

How she so longed for, to get up early just to see the rising sun, splash the refreshing water of the stream and dance across the meadows. So many surprises that nature has in store for mankind, but are so easily taken for granted in this continuous race of life. Her life was almost the same as all those around her, until that one seven letter word changed everything. Cancer. One side of the world, where life's everyday challenges seem like a struggle to some, while the other side, where everyday is an extra boon.

Each moment of life is special and must be cherished. Everyday is a blessing and must be enjoyed. Forgetting this simple fact, people tend to get immersed in their routine and forget the simple pleasures of life. As Hellen Keller once said, "The Seeing See Little". There are so many amazing things in store all around us, but we tend to take them for granted. If only life would give her one more chance...how she would enjoy each moment to the fullest and do all the things that she dreamt of!

Finally, as the rain slowly reduced to a drizzle and the sun peeked out of the clouds, she realized that everyday brings something new and is always a blessing in disguise. Hope refilled her heart as she vowed to celebrate life each day and embrace it as it comes!
