Brushing A Boy's Messy Hair

By lauren • May 19, 2019

I have a boy in my class who comes in every morning with messy hair and every day I comb his hair for him. T

his morning when I got done he gave me the biggest hug and said, "Thanks Ms. Boyd, my mom is sick and can't brush my hair anymore, so I'm happy you do it."

I literally started tearing up. ALWAYS be kind, you never know what kind of struggles someone is facing.

This is the happiest, sweetest baby.

I would've had no idea about this struggle had he not told me.
