Feline Fire

By Terri Rimmer • August 10, 2018

I was taking a nap and could've sworn I heard the sound of loud crackling fire. I was scared to death, thinking about how in Texas we'd had these heat waves, heat advisories, 100 plus temperatures, and fire threats as well as fires in the state due to not having any rain in a while.

My grass in my yard as well as neighbors' yards had been dead for quite some time.

What was going to happen?

I then turned over and realized it was the sound of my Calico cat loudly purring in her sleep!
