There's Still Hope In Our Youth
By Cayla • January 17, 2016
The absolute nicest thing just happened! On the way to our table at Steak 'n Shake, my shy, retiring husband stopped to chat with four teenagers and found out they were all members of ROTC. They read his shirt and thanked him for his service. After they left, their waitress came over and handed Lou a $30 gift card and said, 'The people at my table asked me to give you this and thank you for your service!' It made me cry!! They were KIDS!!!
