Ode To My Father - A Poem I Dedicate To My Mentor
By ankita siddiqui • October 8, 2015
My dear father once said to me
before he laid to rest one day;
"Be good my child at your deeds,
but none should use you indeed"
"Let no one rob you of compassion,
give your best shot full of passion.
For life is tough when you judge,
as each one fights its own battle.
We are all alone, here in our journey,
throwing stones at others is not funny."
"Feel their pain in your sensitive heart,
not letting your goodness fall apart.
Be sure to love the person in mirror,
rest assured, you will always be a winner "
