Guardian Angel
By traci jones • November 29, 2014
This is our 6 year old daughter Cora Jones. On November 10th she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, she is the bravest kid around and even made a video with her dad she posted to YOUTUBE called Cora's Brave Adventures. As her parents we have been doing the best we can to make things normal in our new normal. We have been going through some very hard times but really putting up a great front for her and of course the rest of our family and friends. This picture I took today has really changed things. I lost my dad (Cora's grandpa) in 2010 when she was 2 and half. A couple days after his passing she pointed to the sun shining on the ceiling of our kitchen and said look mom and dad grandpa Jim is in the sky. That really helped us during that difficult time and after I was out taking pictures of her snowball fight with her dad I was speechless. I had taken around 10 photo's but this one was well it speaks for itself. I showed my husband when he came in and we both started to tear up. We realized she does have a guardian angel and someone is looking over her/us and we are all going to be ok. I just wanted to share we are and this was just something that we felt a picture speaks 1000 words. Thank you for your time :) Traci and Josh Jones Lake Stevens Washington
