April 8, 2024
This is an incredible story told by Mitchell Robinson's high school coach Butch Stockton.
Robinson, 26, is currently a professional basketball player for the New York Knicks.
At a recent game, Butch was in attendance and told the story of how Mitch came to see his wife every day in the hospital while she was sick.

At the funeral, Mitch asked Butch to live with him in New York.
"He said coach there's no reason for you to stay down here in Louisiana," Butch recalled. "You come to New York with me and enjoy yourself and get your mind back straight, because you know how much you loved your wife."
Butch took him up on the offer and has been Mitch's roommate since the start of the season.
Wow.
