Alien-Like Senior Chihuahua Steals Hearts Despite Missing Teeth

Meet Bentley, the sassy 15-year-old Chihuahua who lives with his owner and six other rescue dogs.

Bentley was rescued by his current owner, Cary, about 4 years ago.

"I fostered (and ended up adopting) him when he was 11 years old," she said.

Unfortunately, all of his teeth had to be removed.

 

"His mouth was full of rotting teeth so they had to pull them all. Very upsetting because he had the cutest little front teeth ever," she said.

His personality is "very quirky" she says.

He has huge ears and bug eyes.

Because of his odd proportions, he has become quite popular on Instagram (@beanthebentley).

"People just don't even know what he is," Cary says.

"I mean no disrespect but that is the most haunting thing I've ever seen," one person commented.

"I don't know how to break this to you, but I'm pretty sure Bentley is the Grand High Witch," another wrote, referencing the 1990 film, The Witches.

"Bentley, phone home."
