In a stroke of genius, a clever mother has revealed her method to make snacks last longer in her household.
Selena, a busy mother of multiple children, shared her "snack hack" on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.
Selina said she was sick of stocking up the candy and snack cupboard for the family only to find it empty so quickly. So, to slow her kids down and make sure the treats last longer, Selina conceals them somewhere her kids are unlikely to look.
"The best way to save money when you have kids….hide the chocolate bars in pasta boxes. They last so much longer. I do the same with biscuits too haha. And if you forget: extra bonus as they’d last even longer then."
