Szczecin is a city on the Oder River in northwest Poland. The city's historical landmarks include the Szczecin Cathedral, the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle and the National Museum.

But a plump feline has beaten out all of these tourist hotspots.

Gacek has a perfect five-star rating on Google Maps.

Gacek has been living in a covered wooden box on Kaszubska Street for several years where he gets plenty of snacks from passersby. His box is located outside of a shop whose workers act as his guardians.

He first drew international attention in 2020 when he appeared in a video by a local news outlet.

Since then he has been luring travelers from all over the country and beyond.

"It was worth travelling three hours to feel ignored by him. Recommended," wrote one visitor.

"I flew from Oslo with transit in GdaƄsk to see Gacek. As expected, he didn't pay any attention to me which made the experience fully wholesome," added another five-star review.

Unfortunately, Gacek has suddenly disappeared from Google Maps for reasons unknown.
