Garth Brooks Caused An Earthquake When He Sang 'Callin' Baton Rouge' At LSU Stadium
May 2, 2022
100,000 Garth Brooks fans at LSU stadium caused a small earthquake when the country superstar performed "Callin' Baton Rouge".
Garth Brooks played Tiger Stadium (a.k.a. Death Valley) on April 30 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
It was about 9:30 p.m. when Garth asked fans, "I have to ask you, Baton Rouge? Is it time?!"
He was talking about his hit song, "Callin' Baton Rouge" — the unofficial anthem in Death Valley.
A seismograph in Nicholson Hall recorded a small earthquake as the crowd sang, jumped and cheered along to the song.
An LSU professor set up a seismograph machine tonight for the @garthbrooks concert in Baton Rouge.
