She admitted things were difficult in the beginning. She was only 18 years old at the time and living with her parents.

"It wasn't easy! Plenty of times I was almost forced to figure something else out for them due to me being 18 and still living with my family for the first 2 years of having them!"

Plus her parents thought they weren't "cat people" either.

"They were so impatient with the normal things that kittens do, like climbing in Christmas trees, scaling curtains ect."
