These Are Norm Macdonald's Best Tweets. And No, They're Not Funny
September 17, 2021
Norm Macdonald passed away at the age of 61 after a nine-year private battle with cancer.
Of course he will be remembered as one of the greatest comedians of all time, but he had much more to him than jokes.
While everyone is sharing his funniest appearances and greatest jokes, we would like to share a couple of tweets from Norm that will move you.
The first one is a response to a fan who asked for his wisdom after the man's mother died.

"Take all the love you have for her, Pablo, and give it freely to all that you meet. Your mom will look down upon you, happy and proud," he said.
And the other one is a simple reflection on life.

"At times, the joy that life attacks me with is unbearable and leads to gasping hysterical laughter. I find myself completely out of control and wonder how could life could surprise me again and again and again, so completely. How could a man be a cynic? It is a sin," he said.
One of Norm's best friends, Bob Saget, recently shared a tribute to Norm on YouTube. He shared the final conversation he had with him.
"Two weeks ago, he texted me, 'How are you? What are you doing? Are you doing stand-up?' And I answered him with much too many words. And then I didn't hear back. And then last week I got a text and just said, 'I love you.' I didn't say much back. I just said, 'I love you, Norm.' And that was my last communication with him."
