A family found the baby magpie on the side of the road next to it's parents who had been run over. So, they decided to take it home.

To their surprise, the baby magpie immediately took to their dog Rosie, a dachshund mix.

Now the dog and magpie do everything together -- even sun bathe next to one another on the hot deck.

"The magpie spends all day outside and walks up their steps before dark to be let inside to be with his new dog friend," a friend of the family shared.
