Dad Builds Amazing Coffee Shop In His Backyard During Quarantine

A man in California has spent the past 3 months building his dream coffee shop in his backyard.

Julianna Strid shared photos to Twitter of her father's backyard cafe — which he named La Vida Cafe.

Julianna says her dad, Ed, is a contractor and built the cafe in his spare time using "pieces that were 'trash' from old jobs (the doors, materials to build the structure, the front window, etc) and repurposed them to create his coffee shop."

After Julianna's post went viral, Ed was "so excited and so appreciative" that he created his own Instagram page.

"He will be doing lots more videos and IGTVS of him showing other home improvements, building small projects, dog houses, ponds etc!" his daughter said.
