This Man Drives Around With A Trunk Full Of Food And Feeds Thousands Of Stray Animals
March 23, 2018
Turkey has a huge problem with free-roaming dogs and cats. It's estimated that Istanbul, a city of 11.3 million people, has at least 150,000 free-roaming dogs.
But there are citizens who are making a difference.
Erkan Şahin has an Instagram page called "Voice of the Streets" ("Sokakların sesi" in Turkish) where he posts videos and photos of all the stray dogs and cats he feeds on a daily basis.
This man is literally an angel on Earth.
Åžahin spends time every day driving around with a trunk full of food in search of hungry stray animals.

He doesn't ask for money or say how he affords it, but some people have commented on his Instagram page that he has a Paypal account.

And if he comes across a dog that needs medical attention, he befriends the dog and brings it to a veterinary clinic to get treatment.

It's safe to say that Åžahin is loved by all humans and animals.
