Someone Told Him To Grow A Beard. He Did, And It Completely Transformed His Life!

At 21 years old, Gwilym Pugh started a successful insurance company in London from his spare bedroom.

However, working from home and working 12 hour days caused him to gain a lot of weight.

Gwilym decided he needed to be active so he joined a folk band. One day, his barber advised him to grow a beard to look the part.

As he was shedding pounds and growing out his beard, Gwilym created an Instagram account. Eventually, Welsh tailor Nathan Palmer stumbled across it, and the rest is history.

Gwilym's life did a complete 180. He is now a GQ model who's worked with brands across the world including Vans, Belstaff, Diesel and Bud Light.

Earlier this month, Gwilym became an ambassador for David Beckham's new male grooming brand, House 99.
