The Wonderful Reason Every Student At This School Painted Their Own Rock
May 18, 2017
For a school beautification project, every student at Sharon Elementary Newburgh, Indiana, painted a rock inspired by the children's book, Only One You.
All of the rocks are now displayed near the school's front entrance.
Only One You is an inspirational children's book about Adri, a little fish who is about to go explore the ocean on his own. His parents remind him that "you don't have to follow the crowd" to find your way.
The book stresses how everyone is unique, and that each of us have something to contribute to the world.
"There’s only one you in this great big world. Make it a better place."
