People Can't Stop Laughing At This Airport's Cristiano Ronaldo Statue

March 30, 2017

Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is well known for his fancy footwork, as well as his model-worthy looks.

A bronze statue crafted of him unveiled at the renaming ceremony of a Portuguese airport on Wednesday, however, is raising eyebrows for its questionable portrayal of the handsome athlete.

Ronaldo's hometown of Funchal, located on the Madeira Islands of Portugal, decided to honor him by renaming their local airport the Cristiano Ronaldo Madeira International Airport.
