61-Year-Old Model Looks Absolutely Gorgeous In New Swimsuit Ad Campaign
January 13, 2017
61-year-old Yazemeenah Rossi is making it perfectly clear that you don't need to sexualize young models to run a successful swimsuit campaign.
The photos are part of a campaign for a swimsuit collaboration between online shop The Dreslyn and a lingerie house called Land of Women.
When it came time to choose a model, the glowing Rossi was a natural choice.
"This is a woman who radiates health and vitality," Dreslyn founder Brooke Taylor Corcia said. "She's confident, she's a visual artist, she takes care of herself. [This line is] all about being a person who's well-lived and well-traveled and has intelligence and confidence, and letting that shine through."
Rossi is a model, visual artist, and self-portrait photographer based in Malibu, California.
What's her secret?
"There is no big secret," she told the Sunday Times. "All I have ever done is eat organic food – long before it became trendy."
"I take oil and use it on my skin. I put rapeseed oil on my hair. I scrub my skin once a week with olive oil and fine sugar, and I eat an avocado a day and organic meat and fish."
