This Guy Transformed Three Shipping Pallets Into Something I Must Have
May 17, 2016
Using three standard shipping pallets he got free off of Craigslist, Greg Anderson created an awesome lounge tree swing for his backyard. Here's how he did it...

He removed one support board from the base, but most of the back support boards needed to be removed carefully.

Once in place and screwed in, he added the back support beams back on one-by-one about 2.5 inches apart.

He mounted eye bolts with washers in each corner for attaching to rope.

Then he primed the wood.

And painted it.

He ordered the padding and pillows.

Then he primed and painted the third pallet which will serve as a roof.

He used a strong branch on an Oak tree in his yard to hang the swing from. Then using two ladders to support the roof pallet, he mounted and balanced it.

Using the same procedure, except two saw horses instead of ladders for the lower lounge section, he tied the knots, jumped on it to make sure the knots cinched down and it was ready for action.

His French Bulldog, Enzo, has already claimed it.

But he made room for one more.

And with the roof, you can hang lights for relaxing in the evening!
