Hundreds Of Rowdy Grown-Ups Partied With The Wiggles At Their First Adults-Only Concert

February 27, 2016

The Wiggles just held an adults-only reunion concert in Australia to celebrate the group's 25th anniversary.

The sold-out show featured Greg, Murray, Anthony, Jeff and their pals Wags The Dog, Captain Feathersword and, of course, Dorothy The Dinosaur.

For starters, the bar looked like this:

Here's a video of "Fruit Salad" and "Rock-A-Bye Your Bear." Try and remember there are no kids in this crowd, and over 800 rowdy adults.

But easily the most magical moment of the night occurred when the venue, Dee Why RSL, suffered a blackout, which inspired the raucous crowd to begin a chant demanding "Hot Potato." The Wiggles served it up to them sizzling, returning to the stage for an impromptu acoustic singalong in the pitch darkness!

Nostalgia is a powerful thing.

All proceeds raised from the show went to help their friend, wounded war veteran David Savage, and also to raise awareness for the Soldier On foundation who help physically and physiologically wounded men and women returning from service.
