A Giant Sheep Statue With Glowing Green Eyes Is Frightening All The Locals
November 9, 2015
The Big Merino is a 50 foot tall concrete merino ram, located in Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia.
Nicknamed "Rambo" by locals, the Big Merino contains a gift shop on the ground floor and a wool display on the second floor.
Visitors can even climb to the top and look out through the Merino's eyes.
To encourage people to switch to green energy, they thought they'd use the giant sheep the town is famous for.
I'm not sure it's having the intended effect...

"The sheep's eyes haven't been up for long but we've already had a few people tell us it looks freaky," Debbie Hunt, Vice-President of The Goulburn Group, told Mashable. "I suppose it does, but if it gets their attention then I guess that's a good thing."
The sheep's eyes will light up every night until Nov. 16, coinciding with the annual Goulburn Connects Sustainability Festival on Nov. 15.
