An Alabama police officer caught a grandmother stealing eggs. Instead of arresting her, he paid for them.

The officer's kind act was caught on video and shared on Facebook:
"She told me she needed help, and that she needed to put food in her babies' stomachs," Officer William Stacy told Fox News. "And I couldn't let the babies go hungry so I told her go on, park in the parking lot, […] bought her a carton of eggs and brought them back out to her."
After she hugged him, they parted ways. But then Stacy took it a step futher.
With a few other members of the police department, Stacy delivered more groceries to Helen Johnson's home. Watch the video below.
