A rare cloud sighting was captured over Texas that is causing quite a stir on social media.

They're called lenticular clouds and generally form at very high altitudes above mountain ranges.
These were seen in the skies over Robertson and Leon Counties in Texas.

Lenticular clouds have been mistaken for UFOs because they have a characteristic lens appearance and smooth saucer-like shape.
