Unpublished Manuscripts By Dr. Seuss Discovered, Three New Books Coming Soon

Random House publishing company announced that three new books from the late Dr. Seuss will be published after original manuscripts and sketches were discovered in the beloved author's home.

"What Pet Should I Get?" will be published on July 28 - nearly 24 years after Theodor Seuss Geisel's death.

A box filled with pages of text and sketches was found shortly after Geisel's death when his widow, Audrey Geisel, was remodeling her home. The box was set aside and rediscovered in 2013.

"What Pet Should I Get?" will be Dr. Seuss' 46th book. The titles and publication dates for the other new books will be announced later, Random House said.
