Every Day, This Guardian Dog Checks In With His Favorite Rhino Orphan

Koa is a guardian dog at the Care For Wild Rhino Sanctuary in Mpumalanga, South Africa. Every day when he's done with his shift, he checks in with his favorite rhino orphan, Swazi, to see how she's doing.

"Every morning after completing night duty, the anti poaching and rhino security team gives a full report to the animal care givers," the Care For Wild Rhino Sanctuary said. "While the humans carry on with their discussions, K-9 unit member Koa, does a final check on his favourite rhino.
