"17 Days after Oakwood Nursing Home closed their doors to visitors due to the Coronavirus, my daddy and I were allowed a 10-minute 'window visit' to see my mom. My daddy sang to her and talked to her. My daddy had not missed a day for 1082 days straight going to see her at the Nursing Home. We are counting the days until we can see her face to face again in person. My daddy is Jerry Perkins he is 85 years old, and my momma is Louise Perkins she is 83 years old."
